If the first vines are planted by the priors during the 13th century it is at the "Cloux of the Five Newspapers" and then at the "Cros des Cloux" that we must then refer to when we talk about the plot.
In 1651 for the first time the word "Roman・・e" was attached to the name of the plot and half a century later in 1794 confiscated by the revolutionaries the plot was sold to the highest bidder and renamed "Roman・・e Conty" for having belonged admittedly briefly to Prince Louis-Fran・・ois de Bourbon-Conti.
